Most of the time, the thing standing between you and a physics problem isn't the concept. It's that you can't quite picture it: what's actually moving, when, relative to what. Visiphysics exists to close that gap. Describe any problem, and it builds a real simulation of it, so you see it happen instead of just reading about it.
Why watching beats reading
Physics is a real-life subject. Balls fall, cars collide, springs oscillate, satellites orbit. Those are things that actually happen in the world, not just symbols on a page. So Visiphysics doesn't stop at a formula and a final number. It plays out the scenario, lets you scrub back and forth through it, graph exactly how position or velocity or energy changed over time, and only then hands you the worked solution, once you've seen what you're solving for.
How it works
Any objects, any forces, any setup. There's no fixed list of "supported" problem types.
Every object's mass, position, and velocity; which forces apply; and the actual worked-out answer, step by step.
Real numerical simulation (gravity, friction, springs, electric forces, collisions, circular motion), not a canned animation picked from a shelf.
Scrub the timeline, graph any quantity over time, adjust the values that actually matter, or ask a follow-up question about your specific problem.
I'm a physics student myself, and I built Visiphysics after two years of taking the class and tutoring other students through it.
The more homework I worked through, and the more I helped classmates with theirs, the more I noticed the same pattern. The problem usually wasn't the concept. It was that I couldn't picture the scenario the question was describing: what was actually moving, in which direction, relative to what. A lot of people are visual learners, and a paragraph of physics text was never built for that. So I built something that is.
